About Shenzi 200 SC

Shenzi 200 SC is an insecticide containing Chlorantraniliprole 200 g/L SC, belonging to the anthranilic diamide group. It is designed for the management of important lepidopteran pests in registered agricultural crops. Chlorantraniliprole acts primarily on ryanodine receptors in insect muscle cells, causing uncontrolled release of calcium and resulting in rapid cessation of feeding, muscle paralysis and eventual death of susceptible insects. Its activity helps reduce crop damage soon after pest exposure and provides protection against susceptible caterpillar pests. The suspension concentrate formulation allows the active ingredient to be evenly dispersed in water for foliar application. Shenzi 200 SC can be used against pests such as stem borers, leaf folders, bollworms and fruit and shoot borers, depending on the crop and registered recommendation. Application should be made when susceptible early-stage larvae are present and according to the crop-specific product label.

Dosage: 60 ml per acre, or 0.4 ml per liter of water, typically using around 150 liters of water per acre

5. How to Use

• Shake the product container well before use.

• Fill the spray tank partially with clean water.

• Measure the required quantity of Shenzi 200 SC.

• Add the product while stirring continuously.

• Add the remaining water and mix thoroughly.

• Maintain agitation during spraying.

• Apply uniformly over the crop using suitable spraying equipment.

• Ensure good coverage of foliage and pest-infested areas.

• Follow the registered label for dosage and application timing.

6. Compatibility / Mixing

Do not assume that Shenzi 200 SC can be mixed with other insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, fertilizers or adjuvants.

Use tank mixtures only when the specific combination is supported by the current product label or manufacturer recommendation. Where compatibility information is unavailable, apply Shenzi 200 SC separately.

7. Precautions & Safety

• Read the product label and leaflet carefully before use.

• Avoid spray drift onto non-target crops and sensitive vegetation.

• Do not contaminate ponds, streams, irrigation channels or other water bodies.

• Avoid spraying flowering crops when bees and other pollinators are actively foraging.

• Rotate insecticides with different modes of action as part of an integrated resistance-management program.

• Store in the original, tightly closed container in a cool, dry and secure place away from food, feed and water.

• Dispose of empty containers according to the product label and applicable local requirements.
