About Sulpha Max
Sulpha Max is a granular sulphur fertilizer containing 90% elemental sulphur in bentonite sulphur form. It is designed to supply sulphur to crops and help address sulphur deficiency in soils. Sulphur is an essential secondary nutrient involved in the formation of sulphur-containing amino acids, proteins, enzymes and other important plant compounds. Bentonite sulphur contains finely dispersed elemental sulphur, which gradually breaks down and is converted by soil microorganisms into sulphate, the form that plants can absorb. This gradual conversion makes bentonite sulphur useful for improving sulphur availability over the crop-growing period. Sulpha Max can be incorporated into soil before or during crop establishment according to crop requirements and soil conditions. It is particularly useful in soils where sulphur availability is low and for crops with relatively high sulphur requirements, such as oilseeds.

10–15 kg per acre, broadcast before the last ploughing for good yield (roughly 25–37 kg/hectare)
Some suppliers give a wider range depending on soil sulphur status: 25–50 kg/hectare for maintenance doses, and 75–150 kg/hectare for correcting an actual sulphur deficiency in soils that test low.
