2. Product Details
About Alika
Alika is an insecticide, a combination product of Thiamethoxam 12.6% + Lambda-Cyhalothrin 9.5% ZC. It offers systemic activity that is supplemented by the contact and stomach activity of Lambda-Cyhalothrin, thus giving control of several important sucking and chewing insect pests. Thiamethoxam is taken up by plant tissues and translocated in the plant to control pests feeding on the treated plants. Lambda-Cyhalothrin is a very fast-acting insecticidal agent that has contact and stomach activity and affects the nervous system of susceptible insects. When used in combination with other products it is suitable for controlling pests like aphids, jassids, thrips, whiteflies and other caterpillar pests in the registered crops. The ZC formulation is a suspension concentrate that is mixed into the capsule suspension.

4. Dosage & Application
50-80 ml in 200 litres of water per acre.
5. How to Use
Pour in the desired amount of Alika in a small amount of clean water.
Mix thoroughly to make a smooth mixture.
Fill the spray tank about half full with clean water.
Stir in prepared mixture.
* Add the remaining quantity of water.
Properly mix before, and during, application.
Use suitable spraying equipment to evenly spray over the crop.
* Provide good coverage of target pest and foliage.
Use crop specific labeled directions for dose and timing of use.
6. Compatibility / Mixing
Don't assume that Alika can be combined with other insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, fertilizers or adjuvants.
Only apply tank mixtures when a particular combination is labeled or recommended by the manufacturer. If it is not possible to obtain compatibility information apply Alika independently.
7. Precautions & Safety
Please read the product label and leaflet prior to use.
Handle and spray in proper protective clothing, gloves, eye protection and appropriate respiratory protection.
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and clothing.
Avoid drinking, eating or smoking while using or handling the product.
* Avoid inhaling spray mist.
Thoroughly wash hands, face and bare skin after handling and applying.
Avoid having children, livestock or unprotected people in the spraying area.
Do not spray non-target crops, vegetation and sensitive areas.
Never pollute ponds, streams, irrigation channels or other water systems.
Do not apply when bees and other pollinators are in the air.
Keep in the original container, well sealed in a cool dry secure location away from food, feed and water.
Dispose of empty containers as per the product label and local requirements as applicable.
