About Sicario GR
Sicario GR is a granular insecticide containing Chlorantraniliprole 0.4% GR, designed primarily for the management of important lepidopteran pests in registered crops. Chlorantraniliprole belongs to the anthranilic diamide group and acts on ryanodine receptors in insect muscle cells. This causes uncontrolled release of calcium within the muscles, leading to rapid cessation of feeding, paralysis and eventual death of susceptible pests. The granular formulation is particularly convenient for application in crops such as rice, where the granules can be distributed in the field and become available to pests in the crop environment. Sicario GR provides prolonged control of susceptible caterpillar pests and helps protect crops from damage caused by stem borers and leaf folders. Application should be made at the recommended crop and pest stage, with proper field conditions maintained for effective performance.
