About Bang X 505

Bang X 505 is a combination insecticide containing Chlorpyriphos 50% + Cypermethrin 5% EC. It combines the contact, stomach and vapour activity of Chlorpyriphos with the rapid contact and stomach action of Cypermethrin. Chlorpyriphos affects the insect nervous system by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase, while Cypermethrin acts on voltage-gated sodium channels, disrupting normal nerve function. This combination provides broad-spectrum activity against several chewing and sucking insect pests, including caterpillars, bollworms, stem borers and leaf folders. The emulsifiable concentrate formulation is diluted with water for foliar application and helps provide uniform coverage of the crop. Bang X 505 should be applied at the recommended crop and pest stage to achieve effective pest management.

Bang X 505 should be applied as a foliar spray according to the crop- and pest-specific registered recommendation.

A commonly used dosage range for Chlorpyriphos 50% + Cypermethrin 5% EC formulations is approximately 400–500 ml/acre, depending on the crop, target pest and product label.

Apply when the target pest is first observed or when the pest population reaches the recommended economic threshold. Ensure thorough and uniform coverage of the crop foliage.
