About Hexastop
Hexastop is a systemic fungicide containing Thiophanate Methyl 70% WP which is a benzimidazole-group fungicide with a broad spectrum of activity for managing various fungal diseases in agricultural and horticultural crops. Following application thiophanate methyl is transformed in the plant to carbendazim, an inactive form that disrupts the cell division of the fungus, thus keeping susceptible pathogens from growing and developing normally. The fungicide has systemic activity that enables it to distribute systemically to protect areas other than the treated surface. Hexastop is labeled and registered for use against diseases like powdery mildew, leaf spots, anthracnose, fruit rot and other fungal diseases depending on the registered crop and label recommendation. The wettable powder formulation is diluted in water to make a spray suspension for uniform foliar application.
